With nearly four decades of experience leading highly productive teams in the retail food industry, Jason has been a vital contributor to addressing food insecurity in communities.
Starting his career in Victoria, BC, he managed retail operations and merchandising for a prominent local retailer, honing his skills in strategic planning and leadership. Jason’s journey led him to Calgary, where he took on a VP role with one of Canada’s leading food retailers.
Currently, Jason dedicates his time to writing and supporting young entrepreneurs through coaching, mentoring, and planning. His hobbies include cycling, hiking, golfing, and fly fishing. He is an esteemed member of Fresh Routes’ Board, actively contributing to the organization’s mission to enhance food security in communities.
